Today we gave all the babies their first haircuts, and like good parents, we even saved their first clipping of hair! But we always do that…
Somehow, we were able to shear all 10 babies! It took all day, but now they are fur-less and funny looking, but much cooler in this heat.
Here are some before and after pictures of the little guys:
Today, we finally sat down and confirmed if our baby bunnies were he’s or she’s. We were hoping for a lot of girls, because they can live together in sets, where as the boys must have their own little home. But, our hopes did not pay off. We are the proud parents of 7 baby boy bunnies and 3 baby girl bunnies!
Here are the names we have decided on:
And now, the thing you’ve been waiting for, pictures! We let them roam semi-free today, and of course, had to sit in there with them and cuddle them all!
Don’t forget to check out the Rent-A-Rabbit program, and you can Rent one of these cuties for a whole year!!
The babies are now moving on to eating food pellets and grass, and less and less of their mommies milk. Which means that there are ample opportunities to catch them being adorable! The way they get all the way into their water dish, or the eagerness they have when eating hay. Cutest little things! Soon, we will be giving them new living arrangements, and names, so be on the lookout for that! Until then, enjoy these adorable bunny faces! (ignore our voices…we need to not talk when filming baby bunnies :/ )
Our new program, Rent-A-Rabbit is officially open!
What is Rent-A-Rabbit?
Really want a pet, but you are not allowed to have one in your apartment? Always wanted to learn how to spin and crochet and make your own handmade winter wear? This is the best of both worlds. Now, you can rent an exotic angora rabbit and come visit it quarterly in upstate NY in the Catskill mountains. You’ll learn the whole process from fiber to finished garment over the course of a year by joining other like minded folks every three months for workshops. And the following winter your very own rabbit will be keeping you super warm.
The cost is $1600 for the year, which includes the year-long upkeep and care of your rabbit, four seasonal workshops to learn the process from rabbit to finish product, and all lodging and meals at the workshops.
Sounds like fun, right? Well, head over to the info page at AmbikaBoutique.com, and read more about the workshops, or go ahead and just put down a deposit, here! Guaranteed to be the best decision you’ll make today!!
Plus…Bunnies. How can you say no to this face?!
This new litter of baby bunnies is growing fast! They’re just a few weeks old now, but already developing their incredibly soft coats, and getting such cute personalities!
We can’t wait to share more details on their lives and what they’ll be doing as part of the Ambika line. Stay tuned!
Here are a few pictures to have a peek at!
